Built in 1869, The Henry is a historic landmark that has been a past family home to prominent local Civil War figures, a wedding venue, a bed and breakfast, and a tea room. For many years, The Henry has touched the lives of so many and is now under the care of hardworking individuals who work tirelessly to maintain this historic property.

Absolutely! For indoor parties, one half hour of extra, complimentary venue time is included with a 4-hour+ rental, and additional venue time can be rented. For outdoor wedding packages, you have flexible access to the grounds on the day before to decorate.

Well, yeah. Precipitation does happen. We love the outdoors here at The Henry - if you do too, then you've found your people. We recommend considering a tent for any outdoor event just in case.

Yes! You can also bring your caterer of choice or ask us for our favorites - we are happy to help. We can suggest bartenders, or you can serve your guests yourself, as long as they are over 21 and it is not a cash bar.

Seating, tables, linens, and setup/teardown are included in all standard rentals. With wedding packages, we include lots of extras, an elegant white tent and lighting. Outdoors, there is also a dance floor.

Indoors, open house/cocktail events are comfortable up to 50 people, while showers and seated dinners are best kept below 40 people. We welcome parties as small as eight - just ask for availability! Outdoors, we can comfortable host up to 200, although the number is flexible.

We are different! Our wedding packages are specially designed and based around the number of guests, so we are a flexible choice for weddings of any size. Hourly rates are also available for individual spaces on the property.

Yes! We can recommend rentals to make it easy, do have some items in house, including topiaries, backdrops, greenery, and various other items you're welcome to use.

We do! We don't currently charge a location fee, but we do ask that your photographer contacts us and schedules in advance.
